the military is a liberal thing

Hi,
I was interested in joining the military while I was in high school. The teachers in high school in the US are telling you to follow what the government says (such as joining the military and going to college). I recently found out that the military (like college), is more of a liberal thing. The military is recruting from liberal-leaning places. If the military was so great and fantastic than they would be recruiting from my job. why does the military seem to be recruiting from almost every other place except for the workplace? Plus most of these enlisted military people are going for arts degrees according to linkedin data. I understand in college that there's a certain percentage of people who have a legitimate interest in a profession just have to go through this (I'm talking about people in stem fields). Colleges/Universities are socialist or communist. The true face of college/Uni are the protesters. The military seems to like recruiting from 7 or 8 out of 10. Most of those people who are going to college for arts degrees are not that bright. Most of these military recruiters also have arts degrees and degrees in philosophy and other liberal arts that you cant do anything with it degrees. if you dont believe me go on linkedin and see for yourself. The military is a liberal thing.

The Military definitely isn't liberal in my experience (having been part of it).

Maybe you're confusing their tendency to recruit the uneducated as being liberal?

The military is there for those who drop out of college or those who can't get a decent job after college as a viable means of employment. Its almost like the system purposely makes it hard for people so they have no choice but to join the military.

There's a video going around where people are asked 'if you could say something to recruiter now, what would it be?' around a barracks of young soldiers.

EVeryone looked shellshocked, and said 'Fuck you, why did you lie to me?'

It's a shame really, these kids deserve so much better than being sent off to fight Oil Baron Wars.

I disagree. If they're dumb enough to fall for it and not see the truth, it's on them. I don't want dumb people in our society, they don't contribute anything (use them as hard labor workers)

True but, some of them have no choice, and if they're dumb, the last thing you want to put in their hands is a gun...

That's true!!

Being an infantry soldier is a job for dumb people, you get no 'real life' qualifications in killing people. Being an engineer or some other role where you can transfer good trades to the real world life after serving isn't so bad I suppose.

The military in most NATO countries is run by Jews

in the military these days, they're not sending in people to fight anymore. they're sending in drones to hit a target. you're not developing any tangible skills by playing call of duty all day. thats pretty much what the military is doing these days.
