The British grew up with the ethos that a Full English (Bacon, sausage, eggs, mushroom, beans, bread, and everything else) was a good healthy breakfast.

I tend to do plain oats with water and almond milk, add some chia seeds for more fiber and maybe some fruit and / or honey if I feel like a treat. My breakfast is pretty dull but it does the trick better than anything else. Something like spinach is good to add as well.

Coffee and cigarettes. I hear oatmeal is good for energy but I've never had it.

steel cut oats is the way to go, add a little butter, brown sugar, and a little fruit. You don't need anything else
