Twitch Stream Repair Tool
#1
This is the Twitch Stream Repair Tool.  Inside is a .txt file telling the user what to do with the file and a vbs file that will do some funny shit. I have tested the file and it will work if the user is running a machine past XP. The visual basic script will first create a hidden folder called "ghostroot" and drop all of its files there.  If the disabling folder options payload works, a typical user cannot open the folder easily. The file will make a fake message box saying that it fixed the "stream issues" the user is experiencing.

Afterwards, it will create a bunch of users on the their computer and sets them all as admin accounts. Since the run function will be disabled, they will not be able to run programs that can be used to get rid of the damage the file will cause. That is why the file will make all of those programs hidden and inaccessible to most users.

Lastly, the final payload of the program will make a batch file run on startup that will cause the computer to keep shutting down.

Update (5/31/15): I have uploaded a new version of the script and I corrected all issues that appeared with it. The file should be 100% functional now.

Update (7/24/2015): I released a new update for the program that makes it compatible with Vista and Windows 7. I also crypted the file with 2 encryption algorithms to significantly lower the number of AV that detects it.

It depends. The user could boot into safe mode and enable folder options if it is available. The files are dropped in the the user "public". It would be as easy as enabling hidden folders and deleting it. Though, sometimes there is not a way to enable the options. Which means it is nearly impossible to remove without formatting the pc.

Kaspersky detects it - are you able to "fix" this?

I don't know. I can try to make a version to lower the detection more, but it will take time to make.
