Still don't understand credits

I noticed that pretty much all of the random discussion is about getting credits but I still don't get it.
I've been posting and making threads for a bit now and I don't seem to get anything from it.
I've read the pinned "guide" as well but as far as I can tell it's not correct.

Anyone else have this issue or can explain to me what's going on?

I've posted on various threads and made a few myself as well but I have received 0 credits so far.
Am I missing something else?

Assuming a post and thread are 2 and 3 credits respectively. I have 2 threads and 7 posts, but only 3 credits?

I'm having the same question. Was it changed?

I think there is a minimum number of posts before you start accruing credits, probably to prevent people from signing up for accounts just to download a leak then leaving forever.
