Hello,

i just register myself here. As i did, I was forced to register a new email account as well at a free hoster.
Is there a special thread, where I can read why the admins always accept unsecure, NSA-driven free hoster Email adresses instead of
an Email Adress that I run on my own server?!

I mean.. for me, it is like: "You want come to our Security Page? Make a facebook account first and use WhatsApp!"

But maybe you guys have a good reason for it. I really would love to hear it.

It's not a big deal to set up a throwaway account on Hotmail or Yahoo. And, uh, it's actually more anonymous than having your own server, which can much more easily be traced back to you, if that's what you're worried about.

No, im worried about the fact, that it would be easy for goverment specialists to have a spreadsheet with "yahoo"-mails.
Next step: "look who of all those adresses have resived a "registration successfull" mail for well known "security boards"."
Next step: "Isolate all IP adresses of those users and have a closer look about all their actions on the internet."
along with "sent all those IP adresses to their ISP to recive their adresses, "just in case"."

If you live in a country like russia, china, north korea, turky or similar, it is no fun to be "on a list of potential cyber criminals".
Not sure how your goverment in your country handle those "things", but it can be a big problem in others.

We have over 100 new registrations a day, most of them are coming for databases. If we didn't block disposable emails, we would have way more leechers than we do now.

Blocking the Database pages in a robots.txt, to make it invisible for google would also help i guess..
But ok. I accept that statement.

We don't want to block view to that page, we just don't want to make it easy for someone to make another account if they get banned.
