I'd be down to make my own crypto just for fun of course!
#2
Do you want a tutorial or you're just informing us?
#3
rule number one of crypto is, you don't use your own crypto...
for details:
https://security.stackexchange.com/quest...ll-our-own
use existing, robust, well-tested libraries:
openssl, gpg, etc...
#4
Making your own crypto is very hard.
What would your purpose be?
#5
Not good idea unless you know a fking lot 'bout encryption
#6
Thanks for informing of this. I generally don't know how, I would have gone by with my day, if you didn't tell me this.

Thank you sincerely.
#7
do you mean cryptography algorithm, or cryptocurrency?
#8
Making your cryptocurrency isn't hard, as long as it's based on another one. However, setting up the nodes and getting pools and miners for both production and testnet turns it a bit expensive.
#9
Very easy to make your own, but unless it's backed by either functional utility or fame it's hard to make it go anywhere
#10
I've thought about it, but I don't think I would have any use for my own crypto.
