Just questions about GPU usage for rig

If im doing mostly dehashing is it better to have a 2080ti or like 6x p106-100s? Im sure over long term the 2080ti would save on power but im not sure about the hashing power of 6x p106s and if there would be any drawbacks from doing this instead. I currently have a 1080ti and a 2080ti and was thinking about getting a cheaper rig with used p106-100s for like $100 a pop or p104s

I can't say one way or the other on the specs as I stopped giving a shit sometime ago, but I would look at the power usage and what it takes to cool them. Let's say one uses $50 more juice a month, that's $600 a year which you might care about.

2080ti It costs several cars and perfectly fulfills its cost

Thats hard to answer.
More dehashing power also means more energy costs. As already stated above it should be the main factor for a build.

Had to google a bit but here's a reference of the p106 hashrate: https://github.com/kristofferjon/benchma...chmark.log
I saw the p106-100 for 210$ (https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R4...=p106-100s) on ebay, they seem to be hard to get.

A Gigabyte RTX 2080Ti gets ~ 50515.3 MH/s (https://gist.github.com/binary1985/c8153...157562763e) which is 5x higher.
But a Gigabyte RTX 2080Ti costs around 1000$ (https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R4...=p106-100s).

So buy in price is similar.
You shouldnt forget about replacing a broken card because dehashing is hard work for a gpu. I would buy the 2080ti because they are easier to get.

Now lets think about energycost.
My 2080Ti's are consuming ~300w each at 100%. (https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/gi...iew,7.html)
A p106-100 has a TDP of 120w = 6x120 = 720w.

So energycost is higher for the p106-100.

Thats only my opinion through. Hope i was able to help. Take a look at hashcat or hashkiller.io forum for detailed gpu comparisons related to hashcracking or rig questions.
