Is there any way to get into account that's locked because of location?
#1
I'm curious if theres a way to bypass the "suspicious login verification" problem when logging into an account from an unrecognized device, like google or yahoo. Is there a way around this? Thanks in advance.

Indeed there is, just use a VPN. A good free one would be Hola VPN.

VPN's and proxies will work

I tried an anonymous proxy but it's still locked... I couldn't get the exact location though cause its an obscure city, Fort Worth Texas I think. I'm not too familiar with VPNs, I'll look into those. Thanks for the feedback guys ya'll are awesome.

So I installed Hola on my PC but I'm not really sure how to set a specific location in the united states through it... I can set different countries, but not specific areas in the country. Is there something I'm missing?

I'm assuming to get pass being blocked from logging into the account I'd have to set my location to wherever the account is normally accessed from, are proxies the only way to do this?

using a free popular vpn like hola (which is a botnet if you don't remember) won't help you anyway as their IPs are blacklisted on any site that cares about spam

So since most email accounts are locked if you try to login from a different location than normal, theres no way to get around that?

You can bypass this by using a good vpn that has multiple locations. I.E: NordVPN

Sorry for bumping an old thread but I didnt know there were more responses on this.

So if i get a vpn how would that exactly help me when it comes to logging into the device?

For example i have the details for an account but everytime I log in it says I need to confirm that it's really me so i have to do some phone verification stuff and of course I don't own the phone number of that person.

So would having a vpn allow me to get around this?

I just wanna know before i spend money on it.
