How can I open big big text file?

hi,everybody,I had downed very big text file (>20G),when I opende it with ultraedit,my computer halt.

Try searching for similar threads before posting i see this question asked several times a week

Try emeditor instead of notepad or wordpad. Both of them truely suck when you attempt to read files over 200mb. You screen freeze, and the program will abort.

7zip app works for me. Has a built in fille browser that opens txt

Nothing better than Emeditor if you can search around you can find its reg key as well :D

Just barking with the crowd, EmEditor is probably the best thing for large text files.

try ti open in it with 7zip for me works fine

i use glogg to open big txts
