Thumbsup
Australia has grown used to standing up to that aggression and has paid the price for showing other nations how to do it. But as the AUKUS deal with the US and the UK promises the latest weapons of war, has Australia grown to be more than just an irritant to China?

Australia has taken on the role of calling China out, impacting the economy but they are reallly trying to make a stand

That's a great start and hopefully other nations no matter how small will follow, all Voices matter.

I don't think so because nowadays wars are fought with misinformation, a strong economy, and friends with benefits. These days the UK itself is a shithole with no fuel, thanks to Brexit and Bojo the clown while the US was recently beaten and kicked the fuck out by a bunch of cavemen. So Aussies can buy whatever weapon they want the Chinese are here to stay and harm them biggie.

You are not wrong, except China is a paper tiger. It's economy is about to collapse thanks to Evergrande, which is just an example how corrupt and fucked their bubble economy is. CCP will soon realize that cutting off trade with the world will only lead them into abyss, meaning their power to economically hurt the world is a suicide ticket for ruling party. Meanwhile west is moving their manufacturing operations into southeast asia, losing dependency on China.

Their military is big, but sheit and only for show. Everyone goes there for comfy job and social benefits. Being officer in PLA is sure way to get rich from bribes, nobody cares about actually fighting anyone and would run.

Chinese people don't want to fight, do you think families for generations stuck with one child policy would send their sons and grandsons to die? Two generations of their families depends on survival from this one child's income.

At last most Chinese people don't like or straight out hate CCP and only obey as they so far brought massive amounts of people out of poverty, but once CCP stops delivering goods, people are going to riot real fast.

TL;DR: Yeah, AUKUS isn't any omnipotent union to tear a new one to China, but CCP had already fucked China more than any other country could and posses no real threat

It's all just posturing let's be real... Like Crockett was saying it's less about kinetic conflict these days. Considering how Australia has been treating its own citizens recently... It won't matter what side of the fence you're on it's all one big authoritarian shithole

What worries me about China's economy collapsing (it will) is that the make some stupid move like invade Taiwan and stir up some shit over there to distract from the real problem. That'll put a lot of alliances to the test.
