You do realize that you've outdone yourself right? An entry-level $500 PC outperforms your XB1/PS4 and we can at least agree those are the most powerful consoles rn. Yes, you CAN spend $1000 on a new GPU but you don't have to. Not to mention repairs are more expensive for console and voids warranty. Also, you saying that if you don't get a new GPU every 2-3 years demonstrates your lack of knowledge about computer hardware. You can purchase a Ryzen chip with an integrated GPU and that would perform on par with these consoles. You can then choose to upgrade other components later on and outperform the console. If that is not your thing then you can wait until the next console comes out which is rumoured to be around $700-800.
