The only things I'd change in that build would be the power supply and the motherboard, I'd invest in a EVGA SuperNova 850G2 instead, and I'd probably go with a Gigabyte board because I'm biased to them when it comes to boards. When it comes to GPU's I'm an MSI/EVGA kind of guy.

I was planning on doing an upgrade and using spare parts in my current system, I was only going to buy an i7 5820k, a decent X99 motherboard, and an affordable 16GB DDR4 2400 kit. The only reason I want to do this upgrade is due to the fact that an i7 5820k is only $300 now at Microcenter, only $20 more than an i7 4790k.
