Best OS to use?

Getting pretty bored of Windows 10, and want to move on to something a bit more tech wise.
What good operating systems are there about, and what would you recommend.

Linux have a lot of distros just pick one and stick with it don`t make the mistake to try a new one every month or so

for sure I am processing a lot of files on daily bases and Linux terminal commands is a go to for me

Well since i am a penetration tester I use kali linux on my daily basis..

I’ve read a lot about Kali Linux is it as good as it’s made out to be or not.
